Cost $60, guy told me it was his dads, its about 12 years old and he used it maybe 10 times. Do I need to replace the backing? Is there a specific backing size or weight? And for a line, I should buy 4wt weight forward floating for dry flies and maybe a sinking one for wet? What pound leader and tippet? Im going to be using it a lot on this little local pond which has mainly panfish and some bass and small catfish, going mainly for panfish. I asked my friend these same questions but he’s out of state for a week.
