Hi /out/
I'm attempting to grow Nuphar Lutea from seed. I germinated the seeds in a tupperware container with some sandy topsoil from my yard here in Wisconsin. They grew pretty well, looked nice and green when I transplanted them to cups filled with calcined clay (special kitty natural clay litter) with .85g of Landon Aquatic Fertilizer mixed into the bottom 2/3rds of the media then dressed with another layer of clay. These were then placed into plastic totes full of water and left on the deck. I've been monitoring water temperature, it gets to about 80 degrees on a sunny day. The one you see pictured was transplanted yesterday, today I checked on them and the leaves are turning white around the edges. Does anyone know why this might be? I don't think it's nutrient burn. I have had success with a loamy topsoil I found but didn't like how cloudy it made the water. Do I just need to give them some time to adjust to their new homes?
