Off-set EWG: use for thick bodied plastics like grubs, where there needs to be more space for the plastic to flex into during a bite. Without this extra space, the hook point may not be exposed well enough out of the plastic to hook the fish.
Off-set Straight: for thin bodied plastics like thin worms.
Bent Kahle: Same as the Off-set EWG hooks.
Off-set or Bent: these crooked shafts near the hook eye help to prevent the plastic from sliding down the shaft and to help align the plastic from hook eye to hook point so to aid in making the lure weedless.
