>>1818605Do it. I mean really, do it. I can see why you might try big cut bait but this ain't like fishing the ocean... most of the fish I caught except for the one drum and one of the perch I caught were tiny, you need smaller hooks.
And yes 100% you need to get minnows, make sure they're the smaller kind, don't get fatheads. Use bait hooks like pic related to keep them from slipping off or else you're gonna be spending a lot of time wasting your bait.
