Ecologically it fascinates me, working in it I want to slit my wrists. The difference between sandhill and swamp being less than 3' in elevation difference is wild. Plus just the sound of the coastal winds blowing in from the ocean as it makes the pines sway and bend is amazing.
The need for fire as well as the roar as the sawtooth palmettos basically explode is my favorite.
It is beautiful in its own way.
