yesterday i went to smoke a joint in the country and i found this spot (pic related). that big black mass you see in the water is all smelt fish. the water levels are still fucky so they got pushed through a culvert and are now in this body of water that is still too shallow for them to swim further downstream.
they've been there since last weekend though, do you think they will last much longer there? i don't know if there's much food. i don't really know anything about fish. but i was just a little concerned since there are so many and i don't want them to die!
good for me in a way because there are a TON of bald eagles in the area now feasting off the easy pickins so i keep going back to get some pictures of the eagles.
