I've got one I use in my trailer, dropped it in a battery box, bolted a cig outlet block to the top, and a charger/tender on the front. Works great in the trailer, and I can use that to jump-start vehicles. Since it's portable, I can leave it on the tender in the garage and it's ready to throw in the trailer and go when I am.

Better route is two 6V golf-cart cells in series. Obviously this adds additional cost and space requirements. (Chain the two in series and treat it like a single 12v cell.)

The jumper packs work okay for jump-starting vehicles. They're not that great for running stuff long-term.

Some laptop models/brands do offer a 12v power brick.

Or get a generator...

If all you're doing is charging a couple small items, get a deep-cycle/marine battery and build it into a box. Most bigger auto-parts and farm/ranch supply stores will have almost all the parts you need. Smaller, cheaper, far less maintenance than a generator.

I've got a 5A charger/maintainer on the battery box itself, lives in my garage.
As an added bonus, I can use this to jump-start vehicles if needed.
Runs radios, charges phones... 60-something useable amp-hours means it'll charge a fuckton of phones before it needs a recharge.

Since i've got plenty of clearance under the trailer deck, I've been thinking about cutting out a section of flooring and mounting a shower pan under there so I can pull the flooring and use the shower, or replace the flooring and still have a complete trailer deck.

Then that tankless heater you posted may work. Cheap shower curtain on a rod to keep from splashing everything... replace that wall panel with FRP...

...still think I'd rather have a hot tub in the bed of the truck.

Pic's my battery box. 29HM deep-cycle, 5A charger/tender mounted to the front of the box, 3-outlet block on top. Real nice to have for running radios in the house, priming fuel pumps, jump-starting dead car batteries, or anything else where I need a fair amount of 12v power and don't want to confine myself to the truck. I've used my 200W inverter off this to run my soldering iron when I didn't want to lug the generator out (although they're both about the same weight, the battery runs silently aside from the tiny cooling fan in the inverter).
