>decide to hike 5 miles to a good view on a mountain>we all take some LSD at the trail head>hike up goes good>get to top and look at watch>know we aren't making it back out before dark>we start back down>Eagle Scout finally notices the sun is setting>tell him it's okay because I know the way and have headlamp>starts to rain>gets dark>Eagle Scout starts to freak the fuck out and panic>we get to a fork in the trail>he argues with me for 15 minutes about which path to take>tell him I don't care they both go the same way one is just 3 miles longer>explain we go right and show him on map>he refuses and says he's going left>shrug.gif okay I guess>we go about a mile down that trail>he decides we've gone the wrong way and starts to panic again>tell him I'll go back to the fork and meet them there>he freaks out about splitting up>we get back to fork about an hour later>start walking in the right direction>he doesn't even recognize landmarks he pointed out to me on the way up>panicking like a child scared of the dark>tell him not to worry the ranger will come if we're not back before gate closing>tell him we'll just sit under a tree all night if we have to>none of them brought headlamps they're using cell phones for light>all of their cell phones die>2 other hippies haven't spoken a word in hours>ask them how they're doing>shrug.gif we good>finally make it back 3 hours later>eagle scout still freaked the fuck out>claims we were in a bad situation and could have diedI think he's just scared of the dark or something.
