>>1806043And as for handle material and construction they are pretty on par with the rest of the industry; 400 series stainless liners, hardened steel screws, steel/aluminum/titanium backspacers, FRN/G-10/Carbon Fiber/ Titanium handle scales/frames, and most of their Ti Frame locks have steel incerts on the Lockbar.
The only materials I’m not super happy with in the general Spyderco line up is that they use a kind of cheap feeling plastic for the ball bearing cage on their Manix 2, and most of their Carbon Fiber handle knives are actually peal ply CF/G-10 which is a kind of odd material. I think they went with it because it’s more grippy than normal CF.
Most of their Titanium and regular CF knives are made in Taichung Taiwan which is their flag ship factory, most of the really high end knives with really exotic designs (more arty) and their top fit and finish are made there. Like my Tuff (pic related) which was their Flagship knife in like 2013.
