I had a night walk on a mountain not long ago where I found unleashed dog guarding a herd of sheep. It started barking a lot so I just ignored it, remained calm and moved slowly past it. After 5 minutes of walking and leaving the herd behind, I heard steps behind me and turned around to see the same dog following me without making a noise. I used my taser to spook it away with the noise but still don't understand what the intention was? I'm no dog owner so I'm clueless, anyone care to explain? Also the dog breed looked like one of those smart and decent ones but still large in size.
