took it /out/ just a little for a stroll and a picnic in the redwoods today. i wouldn't mind the blade being about 1/2" longer, but otherwise so far 9/10, will use again. we'll see what repeated exposure to apple juice does to the hinge and lock area, though. i'm a little concerned about that.
