It all reminds me of the great white sightings in cape cod by fishermen up through the mid-2000s, which state officials also denied.... until the people filming shark week started showing up every summer, and tourists started posting videos on YouTube.
Are they doing this to avoid public hysteria? Or are they concealing government studies to examine ecological control methods, by relocating big cats from out west to the north east? I’ve heard stories of people seeing mountain lions hit by the side of the road, and authorities taking them away and never hearing another word about it on the news. It’s clear there’s some level of shady shit going on.
