One thing I’ve tried and I’m sure I’ll catch some flack for it here. I been fishing for about a year now and go as often as I get the chance. When I first started I wouldn’t catch a dam thing. Literally went 4 months without one fish reeled in...had a couple on the line once and couldn’t bring em’ in. Was at a bbq for my girlfriends family and was introduced to her uncle. Her uncle is an avid fisherman, been fishing all his life. I told him that I hadn’t caught anything since I started. He laughed his ass off at me. After the ridicule from him and the gfs dad, he let me in on a secret that he said has aided him greatly. Now, follow me here because this may seem odd as it did to me the first time. He tells me that he has applied semen to his lures and spinners. Personally I’ve never heard of this before, so I asked here he gets it thinking it was from some fish. He tells me it comes from no fish and that most every time he goes fishing he takes the time to collect some of his own semen and soaks the hook of his lure in it b4 each cast. I’ll be honest I still didn’t believe this old fuck. I literally have never read about this anywhere.
Well I fished for another month and still no luck. This got me thinking to what he said. So I figured I’d give it a shot. What was there to lose and of course I wasn’t going to tell anyone I tried this. So I brew up a concoction of it and place in a plastic cup. Drove to the lake and applied to the hook. Before my 3rd cast I caught my first ever fish. A smallmouth bass. There’s no way this stuff actually works...right. Well I kept doing it. That day I caught 4 fish in total. I couldn’t believe it! This trick actually works. Since then I’ve been using this ever since and have increased my catch rate dramatically. With that being said...I’ll probably never tell anyone about this i know real life.
