>>2159583I worked with what I had and made a little area. It may not look like much now, but I turned all the stuff that was there and repositioned the logs that were lying around to form a border, putting rotting branches underneath and between them for airflow and stability. There was already composting leaves and I disturbed some worms so I'm hopeful that things will work out. There's a lot of leaves, though, so I'll be adding some green asap.
