>>2535371>I'd love to be there for a few daysSome anons have already made a lot of posts about how to do this and how easy it is
You can literally just pay money for a russian visa and do that, they are one of the easiest countries in the world to travel to (as long as there's not a war going on.) You will spend some time talking with airport security when you arrive as to why the fuck you would ever want to go to their country for tourism but they let you pass after.
They have constantly tried to settle this area but because of the climate and basically every other part of the country being more habitable with a higher quality of life nobody wants to do it, it would take trillions of dollars of investment.
Also, there is a program in place where if you live in russia for 5 years you can get 2.5 acres of far east land for free.
>Your thoughts on siberia?Actually a pretty nice place if you ONLY go during the relatively warm summers, if you were to go in during 6 months of summer and go to a warmer country during winter you would be able to live a fairly comfortable life there. It's approximately 2.6 times cheaper to live in than the US, with an exception towards fresh fruit and vegetable which are fairly expensive there so everyone has a garden.
It's also a complicated language to learn if coming from other european languages, as you need to learn a whole new alphabet and it lacks many commonalities that european languages share.
>>2537143>Not even the least bit beautifulDepends on what parts you're in, you can expect marshes and swamps everywhere but there are /out/ things to do even in this terrain, and if you can find a non-marsh during warm summers you're good to go.
I would pick the far east over siberia although people are generally talking about the same place when they say "siberia", look up pictures of the russian far east, it is beautiful and actually gets plenty of tourists.
