I bought some pic related ("Purple Passion"?) 6 bulbs for $1. I would have bought more but if I fuck it up it'll be a waste of money.
I know I should plant them in november or december for my area, but can they be planted sooner? Right now we're at the tail end of summer. Hot days (80-90F) with cool nights (40-50F).
I don't understand why I need to plant then at the beginning of winter? Isn't that usually when the bulbs are lifted and stored?
Any tips are appreciated. My mom loves purple tulips and I wanted to cut her some flowers for her birthday in may. Will there be any flowers then?
