For the most part, modern "survival" knives are over-designed, and way overbuilt, but the jx2 isn't. It's a perfectly sensible 4.5 inch blade, with about 5 inches of usable cutting edge, 1/8 inch thick O1, or 3V steel, with a great handle, and great ergonomics, that isn't too heavy, or too big to be comfortable using it.
Literally, your entire argument boils down to "waaaaah, youtuber-designed, shit knife, look at how cool I am for dissing a youtuber, waaaaah!"
