>>1105158I need some advice on forget-me-nots, and I apologize if this is a bit rambling.
I messed up and used all the forget-me-not seeds I had harvested off of my plants last year, not planning to save any for the future since before it seemed like they were so easy to grow. The seeds first came in the condolence card from the animal hospital that put down my family's cat when he had mouth cancer.
All the plants failed. I think they weren't ready to be placed outside, but then I worried they needed to be to grow better. Randomly I found one seed stuck on my shirt weeks later maybe, and that grew promisingly but it died from a cold breeze through the window overnight.
Now it seems there are forget me not plants that grew wild outside, near where I had the pot last year. It appears the flowers have all bloomed, and there are none of the distinctive small prickly brown seeds on the plant. There are just a few remaining green pods, which look like they may or may not flower, but are not seeds.
So, can anybody help me? It'll get colder here in the next few days so i need to figure out what to do.
Honestly this discovery has some pretty bad feelings for me. My cat's been gone just shy of 2 years now, but now it feels like it just happened again.
