Pretty smallmouth bass I pulled out of a creek today using one inch gulp minnow on 1/16th ounce jigheads. Won't be using gulp minnows again even though they performed really well, they are just too fragile and expensive.
I just got into fishing again 6 months or so again after having not done it for about a decade during my vegan phase. This is largest bass I've caught since I started fishing again. Going to take my kayak out on lake soon and see if I can't catch a largemouth bass for the first time in a very long time. Georgia/Alabama/Tennessee area.
