Zero chance of tent staying up. He goes into marquee setup for function, sets off powder fire extinguisher amid about 200 people. Gets chased out. Rugby tackles a girl about 150cm tall at most, down into basically a swamp now. (He’s fucking hammered obviously) a couple of big guys see this, punch him a couple of times and throw him in the river.
I go back to bed. Just as I’m dozing off, he falls onto tent. He’d got out further down stream, stripped naked, and craw/rolled his way back to tent which is now flat with broken poles.
He proceeds to climb into MY sleeping bag now, no idea where his is.
“Get the fuck out man!”
“SHUTTUP” immediately snoring.
Fucksake. I’ll just cope I guess. He’ll probably die of hypothermia otherwise too. Next day he just acted like nothing happened. When we got to town though, he did go buy me a very nice new down sleeping bag, and paid all bills that night.
He was a messy drunk but a good guy. He kinda reminds me of picrel.
