But for camping, idunno. Figure out a comfy bed, that'll end up being the most important part. You'll also need moderate storage (I have some bags that I hang off the roof), lighting (battery/electric is good but also a candle lantern is a good idea because if you lose power or it's too cold for alkalines to work well you still need light).
All my stuff is compact enough to pack away and only takes up about 1/3 of the entire truck bed, until I unpack and inflate the air mattress, in which case my storage crates etc are either left out in the campsite or stacked on the passenger seat.
I have a butane stove, camping cookware, a bunch of other compact stuff that stays in the back until it's bedtime and then I move it out. Once you have your bed situation figured out (pic related is mine) the rest comes together.
