I've sold at farmers markets this year and plan on going full swing into it next year. I keep getting told that this isn't viable because "it's just something to do" and "farming is the worst way to live on welfare" and other similar snarky comments. Is it true on what they say and I'm just too hardheaded to change career paths or should I stay the course on what I'm doing? Same poster from here, glad to see this thread's still kicking. Here's everything I have so far started. Peppers aren't going to do well, but the tomatos, and ESPECIALLY the watermelons are popping up. I have 4-5 types of melons this year. Going to see if more exotic and interesting types of melons are going to be a massive hit this year.
