Got Scarpa Kailash Lites a few months ago, they're by far my favorite out footwear. Went through lowa and Salomon boots, tried trail runners but I trashed the soles in less than a month. I've used these mostly for day trips in anything from Arizona desert/canyon country to mountain terrain by Lake Tahoe. They have amazing traction which is my biggest concern, I love being able to climb up vertical rock faces or hop from rock to rock without worrying about slipping off. They're light enough and breathe well, I've hiked for 8+ hours in 100+ degree weather without issue. My one complaint is that one of the seam threads by the heel tore, but I was basically sliding through gravel so I'm not exactly surprised and the damage seems pretty superficial
