>>2488123I have definitely seen plenty serviceable Gen 3 tubes for about 2k but aviation grade not so much. Often the jump to white alone kicks it into 3k+ and aviation rated tubes don't usually end up in monoculars unless somebody ordered it that way. But that doesn't mean those 2k units aren't good! As long as they don't have major blems, horrific noise, or unusable halo a Gen 3 unit is typically gtg and I honestly keep an eye out because even with binos I want a PVS14 as smaller, lighter, option. A spare also becomes a loaner for friends.
