As we were packing up camp to start the hike for the day a buffalo came across a river and up the embankment we were on. I gave it a respectable 80-100 feet of space. My friend went like 300-400 feet into some bushes and hunkered down. The buffalo started at me standing there, examined our tents and gear, then moved on. No worries. He was convinced they were hunting us after that.
