>>113695birch is probably one of my favorites. chaga, a fungus grows primarily on birch. it makes a tasty tea, and is supposed to be super good for the body. i have heard they can be found on maples, but i havnt seen that. i'd also have to say oaks are another god tier tree. maybe even cedar. i'm into wooden boats and there isnt anything better for small boats then cedar. lightweight, strong, rot resistant, and smells wonderful.
