This is from google images but it's exactly the same as the one he built. You can either burn twigs or slide a trangia in that little slot and the holes make configuring the grate exactly how you want super easy. The thing boils water like you wouldn't believe when you're burning twigs, though that depends on what kind of wood you have access to.
