I live in a 4plex with a crawlspace underneath. Under all my floorboards (every wall in the unit) is a 1/4 - 3/8" gap that leads directly to the crawlspace. There are house spiders and house centipedes that invade by the dozens. I've killed three in one day before. Additionally, my bed is on the floor - literally on the carpeting, as I sleep in a Japanese-style futon, and have seen them crawling across my sheets.
Both species are completely harmless and I've gotten to the point where I just smash them with my hand and leave the carcass smeared across the wall as a grim reminder to their brethren. I don't want to say no fucks were given because they do give me nightmares on a regular basis (pic related is 100% accurate)... I need to fucking move into modern housing.
