do they look like this? or like normal frogs?
the only way to stop them from coming into a basement would be to find where they are coming in and that can be difficult
if you find the hole use expanding foam to fill it or just stuff an old tshirt in it
chances are there may be more then a few holes so thta ould be hard
when trying to catch them go from directly behind them and grab them they have pretty decent peripherals
you can always throw a slightly wet rag over them ( for weight) then grab them
as for frog traps im not really sure i hate to use things like mousetraps to kill them but something like a funnel trap could work pretty decently if done right though i have no experience with them so you cant hold me accountable for anything( il attach a picture in next post)
