>>1766913I'll definitely have to look into protein supplements. Probably some cheap multivitamins too. The thing with rice, noodles and beans is that I feel like there's a much more compact way to do it. I've got a 5lb sack of rice and a 5lb sack of beans, but I feel like I can grind/pulverize it down into a much more compact package while it's dry and portable/storable. I bet I can find info on it if I look it up.
Even with a cooler, I'm having trouble keeping hot dogs, deli meat, and cheese from expiring in a reasonable amount of time. I know how to smoke meat, but I'll look up how to dry meat out in the sun and air drying it too.
Sorry if it seems like I'm not fully receptive to these responses, which I do appreciate. I'm sort of posing these questions for three purposes: to get answers, to get suggestions, and to bounce some ideas off of more knowledgeable people. So when I say something like, "I'll have to look that up," it's not me disregarding an response or questioning it's validity. It's me acknowledging that I've been led in the right direction and that it's now my responsibility to do the work to fill in the gaps.
Just to clear that up. This has all been very helpful.
