>>1140713>>1140724I'm not sure what gear your mate saw, maybe it was something new or unusual for all I know, but the old and standard 1-man tent we have is made of cotton and not modern materials. It's a square with lots of buttons that can be joined together to build a larger tent if you combine several pieces. We call it a "button tent".
