Most bead fishers peg/bobber stop the imitation trout/salmon bead about 1-2" from the hook. One Alaska rule book mentions the 2" rule, and how free sliding beads were also legal. How would allowing the bead to free slide affect hook up? Letting the bead sit on top of the hook would allow for a nice egg and worm combo.
I'm sick of the pig tails in floro and mono. This vid,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ds-yqvoejismentions white braid blending in really well with the sky, and open water column. Thinking of switching my slip bobber rig over to white braid. Any experience with this? Does it spook trout?
