the retarded luffa is still the same, but the soil i added to it is getting a little mold, so i set it at a window in hopes the sun will kill the mold; it's last two other, even more retarded brothers are still okay, but one is getting rot on it's leaf, and will probably die soon
the luffa thats outside is growing great, and yesterday i planted a luffa in a bucket that i found sprouted from the trashcan off a peatpellet i thought was dead, i'll put that luffa inside once winter comes, so i can have a bathroom luffa in my bathroom that grows bathroom luffas for my bathroom
the winged bean in the buckets are fine, but half the ones on the fence are dead & the other half is lame, yet still going, i think they just got too beat up in the storms, i think they'll manage though
i recently found out about plants being able to have "twin seedlings" per seed, so i'm thinking that the quad seedling beans could have something similar to that, which gives me even more hopes for breeding them into a new variety
i also planted some jerusalem artichoke in a trough, i put it in front of where i got the buckets of beans, in hope they'll climb on them, but i'm now also thinking about whether or not thats a good idea, in case they get covered in pests, like sunflowers always do, so i think i'll put it elsewhere
