She is okay to go on shorter hikes with but she gets a bit grumpy from all the extra exercise and the extra dog food luggage is not very welcome in my backpack (cant put pressure on their backs or they won't live as long).
Pretty much useless /out/doors since they don't fit in as hunting dogs, cant carry anything, aren't very good at sensing danger and cant be used as guard dogs at night since they are either fast as sleep or just bark at everything. They are quite warm though during night if you can stand their inevitable demand for bed space.
I prefer mine as a house companion, since they easily adapt to your lifestyle and have very lovable personalities.
