There were maybe twenty five other people up there. It's a caldera rim so there's plenty of room up there. I did take photos with the summit sign.
I'd never do Everest. I've seen tv programs about how crowded it is. I'd hate to die because some accountant mountaineering for the first time was taking a really long time to get past the Hillary Step. Aconcagua apparently is still relatively wild but non technical. Think it would be a better summit even without the bragging rights of world's tallest summit. Chimborazo would be a fun summit just because it is the summit closest to space/furthest from the center of the Earth due to equatorial bulge.
