I have recently gotten back into fishing in a big way (been getting out 2-4 times a week in the past year).
I mostly fish for panfish and bass but I really want to get into walleye. All my years of fishing and I never caught a walleye (northeast PA).
I have been out to the local river (Susquehanna) 6 times in the past 2 weeks, ice is just staring to disappear form the river bank. But I haven't had any luck.
I try shallow and mid diving rappalas. bottom bouncing Mr. Twisters on jig heads tipped with night crawlers, and some soft plastic swimbaits... but no luck.
Any tips for a wanna be walleye fisherman?
