If I was doing nothing, and just chilling and I wanted something easy for heat i'd get a good insulated rubber boot (a lot of shit rubber boots) or mickey mouse boot.
Pac Boots and Leather boots with insulation fit a middle ground between the two for activity/inactivity but if it uses polyurethane, it will need to be used regularly regardless, and will still be fairly heavy.
