One of the most terrifying things I have ever done was SCUBA dive in this cave in Cape Manzamo, Japan.
The cave is just a hole in the ground, starting about 5 meters underwater. Then you dive straight down (quickly going into darkness) all the way down to about 30 meters. Then, there is a crawl space probably about 50-60cm high that you have to wriggle through (with a scuba tank, BCD, and all the other gear) until you end up in this cave. I didn't have my camera unfortunately (I probably would have gotten stuck) and I could only find this shitty stock photo. This is the cave exit about 30m underwater, after the crawl space.
