my whole rig is piddy small - this is my hammy with poles, mozzie net, straps, slings & carabiners, and TWO fucking tarps. meh.

it's modular, you take or leave what you want. the whole ring wraps up pretty small and weighs about 4lbs. if you don' take the poles or if you skip the skeeter net altgoether it goes down to like 1.5lbs. it's really not so bad. also it's more than just a place to sleep, if you like hammocks you'll always have a better night in on than a tent. i personally will never tent again.

pic related - the DD jungle hammock. everything is in here including the caribiners, slings, straps, poles, and even two tarps (i bought an extra one).

here's the cmpression sack though - this has EVERYTHING in it - the hammock, poles, bug net, tree straps, carabiners, TWO tarps, and the slings. pretty goo if you ask me...
