Eucalyptus also was 43% of the trees burned in 2019, to give an idea of how much those little shits are literal fire bombs.
And that was 2019 which was actually a pretty calm fire year (41.6k ha burned). 2017 (picrel, 537k ha burned, literally 6% of the country) must have been even more eucalyptus-y.
