Leon
Any dog that's not too small (unless you don't mind carrying it once it gets too tired from keeping up to your pace), and whatever level of complications you're okay at dealing with regarding hair length, prey drive, etc. Mine has a light mane and ear fluff (border collie, maybe a bit thicker) but golden retriever body hair, which is great for /out/ stuff, and sheds that light rain when we get stuck in it. Leon is 3 years old and he listens very well and is laid back like an old dog. Doesn't bark at all, or growl. Becomes alert and can stalk pretty well if he get the "OK" from me. Dotes on my every move. Just be a super bro and treat him/her so well that you'd love to be in their shoes. Don't know what breed his is or was made from, anything from long-hair dachshund to chow. Don't really care either. He's 20lbs of fluff and perfect temperament in a compact and mild-mannered pupper. And he's my best friend!
