>>1320402Here's #2, doing nicely (I guess) for a new shoot out of unshooted rhizome propagation, and being scalped. What I'm curious about is that it has a runner that's doing exactly what it's supposed to do, but like #1's third runner, a branchoff has come out of the ground and is growing upwards like a shoot. Unlike #1's 3rd, it has leaves and is hardening like a shoot.
Is this supposed to happen, such as gaining additional energy to push out runners, or is it committing sudoku by expending energy at a deficit?
