bought pic related, tried out yesterday. smoked garlic, paprika, slices of bread and kohlrabi. I made big mistakes and didn't let my cold vegetables get to room temperature + i didn't dry them. also closed the little smoke hole (dunno name) the condensed water stayed inside the whole time. Wanna try out again with vegetables again, don't wanna waste meat and fish, the garlic and bread actually were edible, but the rest was quite bitter. Some kind of smoking spices came with the smoker, do I put those on the smoking flour? do you always need to put your goods in prine prior to smoking it, or is it enough if it's properly dry? Thought of smoking freshly catched fish, everything i read says you've to let it sit in salt/prine for hours though.
