You can see here about how big it is when folded up. It's not hard to fold to put back in the bag it comes in.
It's also very cheap for camping tarp ($25CAD). You can get even lighter tarps that folds down smaller, but it can get pricey.
The only real problem I've found with the tarp is there isn't as much grommets (rings) on the tarp.
There are grommets on each corner, then one grommet in the middle on each side.
There is also a hoop in the middle of the tarp that is very useful for tying off or using it as an over head tarp for hammocks.
Seams durable, it is seam-sealed and waterproof.
Canadian Tire also has a larger option.
