Hi all,
I bought 2 black hungarian pepper plants this spring and because all the prime real estate for peppers was taken up by my poblanos, I put these guys in a non-prime location next to my tarragon. They did extremely poorly and produced very little.
I'm in Canada and pretty soon our 2 season rotation will bring us from ultra-summer to ultra-winter and any warm climate plants outside will die. I decided to pot my 2 black hungarians and bring them inside because I want a winter project and I thought that trying to rejuvenate these 2 guys would be something to keep my away from the noose when the snow falls.
Is this a total waste of time? I figure with some good pruning, fertilizer, and a nice sunny spot by a window, I might be able to overwinter these guys and give them a second chance next spring.
Any advice from more experienced people would be appreciated.
