To be honest famalamsters the only reason I got into this hobby is cause a girl I like knows how to dive. She's coming to visit me from her flyover state next weekend and wants to dive, so I'm learning now and when she gets here we're gonna go out on a boat to an island and do some dives.
Shit's expensive as fuck yo. I dropped $2300 on gear including a 7mm wetsuit, but I still need to buy a hood and my own tank. I gotta be honest though, the financial barrier to entry makes me feel elitist, and I like that.
