speaking of hunting alone, the most likely danger is yourself. Most accidents are people being retarded - shooting themselves, falling off something and breaking a bone, not taking proper precautions. It's unlikely that some hick will shoot at you, especially if you're wearing orange and carrying a loaded problem-solver.
