>>1118499Thanks. I wish we could have caught some more eater perch, the lake was full of the bastards but they were all bait-sized. I actually live in IL too, caught those on vacation Gull Lake in Minnesota. Its a nice area, I'd recommend it to anybody looking for a fishing trip spot.
Didn't spend too much time bass fishing but there were some nice ones up there as well. It really makes me want to move up there, its cheaper too. Probably the same way you felt when you'd go down south. Fishing in IL can be decent but its just so damn average.
