I'd rather break a $20 combo than $100. If you have an Academy Sports nearby, go there instead. Walmart is notorious for bent bail wires and broken eyelets from poor shipping and mishandling. Maybe not all, but mine is for sure. Check everything thoroughly should you buy from there. You might even be better off checking local garage sales or even Craigslist.
My Pops brought in a 7 foot bull shark last night. I got a 4 footer as well, but his was the highlight. It's windy and choppy as shit today, so I don't want to launch the FrankenSUP before dawn. I'm going to throw out a live bait and see what the dawn bite from shore looks like, then I'll launch a little later. Shitty picture, but the best I could do while handling the spotlight, a knife, and pliers.
