>>1667410værnes, trondheim airport. the hiking route is called across norway or something and goes from the coastline to the swedish border, its official starting point is at the local tourist office but most people just go from the airport or train station instead. its a nasty hike the first day or two, lots of tarmac/dirt road and elevation to get above the valley, might need an extra night in tent there. then its all short daywalks in pure nature, as seen on the map. half red cabins are open and unserviced, fully red ones are serviced. expect to meet people at this trail, and id you want a day or 3 more you go down to storlien/duved in sweden and catch a train from there instead of the almost daily bus from tydal.
